DVI2USB 3.0

The DVI2USB was easy to connect

The DVI2USB was easy to connect to my MacBookPro and Sony VG30. I had to open the software first before getting video on Skype, but it is the only adapter that works for this purpose.Highly recommended if you want something that just works. I haven't tried the audio capture yet, but it supposedly does that as well with an HDMI input signal, so I'm anxious to check it out.

Works Great

I am using this on Linux (Ubuntu 12.10) for some video analysis software that I put together, and it works great. It exposes itself as either a V4L (Video for Linux) or as a DirectShow Device on Windows (which I didn't test).

After a quick driver install, I was up and running and using this with SimpleCV for my Analysis.

Highly recommended if you want something that just works. I haven't tried the audio capture yet, but it supposedly does that as well with an HDMI input signal, so I'm anxious to check it out.
