Flawless performance...reliable 1080p HDMI capture

After trying some less expensive products with less than satisfactory performances, decided to invest the extra bucks and bought this. Used it for Live Streaming using a laptop connected to Wowza. Worked flawlessly capturing video from a camcorder at 1080p resolution over HDMI (including audio). Laptop connection via USB 3.0. MUST USE USB3.0 for 1080p. Did an entire wedding livestreaming for over 3 hours. Not a glitch. Does not get hot even with continuous operation. Good product.

Adapter just works perfectly fine

This adapter worked perfectly and reliably for our uses with Adobe Connect and WebEx on the Mac.
One caveat is the adapter will require USB 3.0 to provide clear/consistent video footage.

We have training participants in a classroom setting and remote via WebEx or Adobe Connect. We wanted to get a DV cam to record the events in of the training AND present the video to the remote participants from the DV cam.
We struggled with audio issues and video issues galore.

Easy install, Solid build, Works very well

After trying a similar type of device from a different vendor that did not work well, I was very skeptical about trying this. However, my concerns were eliminated literally within minutes of installing it as it worked perfectly and easily right out of the box. without even installing any software at all on a Windows 10 machine, you can grab images and video in less than a minute after simply plugging it in. No exaggeration! Physically, it feels very sturdy and does not get hot to the touch like I've experienced with other vendor's similar devices. Still true even after it has been on for about a week straight now.
